Day 16 – 21 – Food Intoxication

So here I am again after having an unpleasant food intoxication from a pizza. It all started on day 16 afternoon where my girlfriend and I ordered a pizza from our favorite place. After finishing it I already began to feel unwell and then I got diarrhea.
However, as I became to feel sick I do not stick with my usual schedule. I slept as much as possible to give the body the chance to regenerate faster. Still, I felt that my body continues to use the E3 schedule and woke up around 3:00 am and feeling more tired on the usual nap times. Depending on my condition I stayed awake or took another sleep.
After passing the diarrhea on day 20 I still had some temperature and didn’t feel that good. But on the end of day 21 I already felt way better and everything got normal again!

This time wasn’t fun at all and I really felt wrecked. Increasing sleep in such times where my body needs it is a good way to handle such situation. However, after 3 days I felt that I do not need that much sleep although I wasn’t fit already. It began to be hard to fall asleep and get more sleep than in E3.
I think it was the right way to consume more sleep but now I also understand that my body tells me if I really needs more sleep than in my usual E3 schedule.

Day 15 – Tired Morning

Today was a pretty average day with one exception, I was pretty tired between my core and my first nap. I felt asleep a couple of times but after my first nap everything was OK again. Maybe that was a reaction of my weak naps from the day before.
Speaking of my first nap, I timed it to awake with the sunrise. But since the days getting shorter and shorter I think I will get into troubles to do so. I just hope I will not get too “awake” to fall asleep after sunrise.

Day 14 – Wedding

After the core with the additional hour of sleep I felt fine again again. I had no problems getting up nor during the morning hours.
Today there was a wedding which started at 11 am. So nap 2 & 3 were already at the event. Nap 2 was held in the car. It was very hot in it and I didn’t have the chance to lay down in it so I sat the whole time. It was more like a deeply relaxation instead of a good sleep. The very same applies to nap 3 but instead of the car I was searching for an place to be unlocatable. I found one but there were just chairs for a nap. So the last nap here also wasn’t that awesome and I felt how I really got tired in the late afternoon.
As I was the driver at this event I was only consuming a beer.

Day 13 – Tired

It seems that every time I had some bigger structure problems with my schedule (like skipping one nap) I will pay the price for it the second day after. Today was such a day and I felt terrible tired. Although getting up wasn’t a problem staying awake was. I always felt asleep a couple of times in the very morning as well as in the afternoon. This was also the reason why I decided to take an additional hour of sleep in the next core.

Beside this problems which were mostly at the beginning and the end of the day, I was climbing with friends. We climbed almost 3 hours and afterwards I was visiting them for lunch. I didn’t feel tired during this time- but afterwards.

Day 12 – The Day After

I thought it will be pretty hard to get up and stay awake on the usual schedule after the day before. To my surprise it wasn’t that hard. My core was pretty OK and it wasn’t hard to get up. My naps were a little bit more spread than usual, but they were also pretty fine. To my general condition on this day: I felt a little bit tired from time to time, but it wasn’t that hard. I had worse days when I was sick.

Day 11 – Alcohol & Weed

The day starts as every day before. My core sleep was OK and so were my first two naps. In the afternoon I meet with friends and we drank some beer. Afterwards I smoked some weed and got some more beer. I had a lot of fun but missed my third nap totally. I went home at 12:30 pm and was pretty tired.

Day 10 – Who Needs an Alarm?

So from time to time it happens that I awake without alarm. That’s very nice because I feel always very refreshed if that happens. Today was such a day and it was a really nice start in the morning! The rest of the day was quite average in terms of naps. I also naped a few times without earphones at all and its no problem anymore!
