Day 27 – Training

Usually I avoid to train in the morning because I am feeling not as fit as in the evening. But today I start right away at 7 am. I feeling pushed afterwards but also a little bit tired.

Today I was training with my body weight which has increased since the beginning of E3. The reason for this is simple, I always feeling hungry especial for sweets! However, the training was good. In comparison to past logs I see that I didn’t loose power so I am happy that E3 doesn’t seem to have a big influence here.

Day 23

After getting tired at about 11 pm I went to bed at 11:45 pm. I slept 3 hours and 15 minutes and after my alarm was waking me up I was feeling refreshed and good. I was happy that this time everything worked out. I started reading for one and a half hour and still felt fit. I rate this sleep with a solid 4!

After some further reading and doing some tasks until my girlfriend woke up I took the first nap at 7:55 am. I almost instantly felt asleep and woke up one minute before the alarm. I feeling pushed and very happy! First time I rate a nap with a 5!
I took the second nap at 1:30 pm in the office. It was again a great nap! I felt deeply asleep and awake right before the alarm. Only the circumstance that I slept on the floor make it only 4.5 points. Again I felt very awake afterwards and had no problems to perform difficult tasks.
The last nap for today was also in the office as I worked a little bit longer. I took it at 7:10 pm and in contrast to both previously I was only dozing this time. As expected I wasn’t that refreshed afterwards but still good.

Have been long since my last training. Usually I train more often but I wanted to fully recover before the next training to see if it would take longer than usual. However, I don’t think that there is any difference. I had muscle sorrow two to three days afterwards which is OK by the fact that I didn’t train regularly. I did exactly the same exercises as on my first training to take a look if there is any performance gain. There was! I will train more often now to see if this will continue and draw conclusions about it with respect to precious logs to see if the performance gain will be similar.
After training I was still fit but after 10 pm I felt that my last nap wasn’t that well.

Day 18 – Weight Training

For the first time since I am practicing E3 its training day! I was very excited and after the first warm up I already felt very good. The training started at 9 am. I did four exercises with weights each of them with one warm up and three reps. Comparing to my logs to previous training’s, I didn’t had that much power today. But this could have multiple reasons. One of this is of course that I didn’t train since three weeks. Another reason could be the that I trained early this day and based on old logs I hence that I don’t have as much power as I have during the late afternoon. So lets wait to get some further information and compare them later when we have more information.
However, it was great and I hope that I can regenerate soon even with this sleep schedule.

Weight Training during E3

As I began to read about E3 and decided to give it a try, one of my biggest concern was about weight training. I read that it can’t work if someone do exhausting weight training during E3. It was hard but I decided to stop the training and get started with E3. I didn’t want to strain my body to much at the beginning as the new sleep schedule already is hard enough. However, I saw that hard physical work and climbing worked quiet good and I think that I will try to restart my training next week (week 3). I am very curious how it influence my schedule and if my body have enough power for this!
