This weekend I was traveling to friends by car. It took me almost 4 hours to get there because of a traffic jam. The darkness, lights and the huge traffic made me tired. As I arrived, I wanted to sleep but after some conversations we started playing a game and I was up until 2:30 am (on day 29). I also smoked some weed during this time. I wasn’t sure how this would affect my sleep but I was eager to find it out.
Day 29 – Core
I felt asleep at 2:30 am. Because of the weed and the exhausting travel I was instantly sleeping. Getting up at 5:30 wasn’t a problem and I was refreshed and feeling good. I also didn’t feel any aftermath from the weed.
Day 29 – Naps
Because of the late core I decided to take the first nap also a bit later at 9:30 am. I was refreshing and good. 3.5 points for this nap.
After this, we took a long walk to see the area. This took more than 3 hours and I was already pretty tired then. The nap at 2:55 pm was as refreshing as the first one.
In the afternoon we continued smoking some weed and I was feeling how this and the long walk took its toll. The last nap at 7:30 pm wasn’t that refreshing because someone wants to play a joke on me during my nap. Luckily they didn’t but my sleep wasn’t as deep as usual making it only 2.5 out of 5 points.
Day 30 – Core
I was already pretty tired at 11:00 pm so I decided to take the core sleep earlier and a little bit longer. I slept from 11:55 pm until 3:10 am. It was a deep sleep and I felt OK afterwards. I rated it with a solid 3.
Day 30 – Naps
I was still a little bit tired and reading a book wasn’t a help. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my notebook with me to do some work. I experienced that working on it always keeps me awake without pain. So I was pretty happy when I took the nap at 7:00 am. It was refreshing and I felt good after this. I rated it with a 3.
The next one was right before our lunch at 2:15 pm. It was good and refreshing again. I was sure that it wouldn’t be a problem to drive home the next few hours. I rate it with 3.5 points.
After arriving at home I was feeling still good but I try to get into the usual schedule. So I took the last nap at 7:30 pm. It was refreshing and I felt very good afterwards. I give it 4 points. A nap at home still is the best!
It was a nice weekend and I had a lot of fun. Smoking some weed wasn’t a big issue in my sleep schedule although my sleep wasn’t as refreshing as usual. But this could also be due to the new location. What I didn’t like was the huge amount of sweets I ate after smoking and the deep down in the morning hours after it. I think the cause for the down was the sugar and not the weed.
I was offered some coffee without caffeine. To be honest, I never thought about having a coffee without it. It was awesome to drink coffee and I think I will buy some of that sort!
