Day 21

Three weeks are passed since I started my little sleep experiment. After the first week I felt very comfortable with my new sleep schedule but this only lasts a week. The last week was very hard. Especially the last couple of days because of the bad core sleep. This day is no exception!

As stated previously, I changed the time span for the core sleep to 3 hours and 15 minutes. Unfortunately I slept badly this night. I woke up somewhere in the middle of this sleep and tried to continue. But this interruption made my sleep very unsatisfying. I tried to stand up when the alarm was ringing, but again I just fell asleep and woke up at 5 am. I was very tired and because of this I just rate it with 1 point. I also don’t know if the additional 15 minutes had any influence and so I decided to retry it tomorrow.

The naps where OK this day. The first one was at 6:20 am. Because of my tiredness I slept right away until the alarm was ringing. I felt a little bit more refreshed but still not awake as usual. Giving it a rate of 3 points.
The second one was later than usual because I was cooking lunch longer than expected. After falling asleep in my bed at 1:50 pm, I woke up after 15 minutes feeling already refreshed and good. I rated it with 4 points.
The last one was again a little bit later because of a trip to my parents. I took it at 7:50 in my bed. I was good and I felt refreshed again. 4 points out of 5.

However, I struggling a little bit because of the weak cores of the last few days. I hope this time it will be more refreshing again!
